Bloodlit Fruit in Grow a Garden is a mutation that has been introduced as part of the limited-time Blood Moon event that’s currently running in-game.
During this event, you have a chance at seeing the Blood Moon rise when night falls in Grow a Garden and, when the deep red hue covers the land, your crops may just change a little.

How to get Bloodlit fruit in Grow a Garden
In Grow a Garden you can get Bloodlit Fruit as part of the Blood Moon limited-time event currently running in-game alongside the Lunar event.
When ‘Nightfall’ happens at the start of every real world hour for ten minutes, there’s a chance that the Blood Moon will rise instead of the normal ‘Night’ weather event. If the Blood Moon does rise, there’s a chance that any crops you grow during this period will grow with the Bloodlit mutation on them.
You can tell when a crop has become Bloodlit because it will glow an eerie red colour, and you’ll also get a notification at the top of your screen telling you that you’ve grown something Bloodlit.
You can sell your Bloodlit fruit, or you can give it to the Wise Old Owl (like you would do with ‘Moonlit Fruit’) to get Lunar points for the Lunar event as the ‘Bloodlit’ mutation is classed as a type of ‘Moonlit’ mutation. Remember, you can collect Lunar Points to get useful items like the Nightstaff.
