Alpaka Games raises $2.2m in seed funding round

Mobile developer Alpaka Games has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Ludus Ventures, with participation from A16Z Speedrun and Revo Capital.

As reported by Mobidictum, The Türkiye-based studio will use the investment to support production and scale its games and marketing team.

Alpaka Games was also selected for the A16Z Speedrun accelerator program, joining the 2025 cohort in San Francisco.

This program supports startups with investment, mentorship, and industry connections.

“As a mobile game studio that emerged from Türkiye and is just starting out, we are proud to partner with the most prestigious funds in the industry,” said Alpaka Games co-founder and CEO Can Askoy.

“The acceleration program we attended in San Francisco allowed us to establish even closer ties with the global game ecosystem and gave us great momentum on our journey to becoming an internationally successful company.”

Alpaka Games was founded in 2024 by Askoy, Levent Alp, and Özgün Levent Kaya.

Their combined previous experience includes positions at Rollic, Codeway, AdColony, and BiLira.
