Capcom’s current executive corporate officer and chief product officer, Yoichi Egawa, will step down on April 1, with Monster Hunter producer Ryozo Tsujimoto assuming the latter role from that same date.

President and COO Haruhiro Tsujimoto will take over Egawa’s role of overseeing Capcom’s Pachinko and Pachislo business divisions.

Ryozo Tsujimoto – who currently serves as director and executive corporate officer deputy in charge of development divisions – has been with the Japanese megacorp since joining as a graduate in April 1996.

Kenkichi Nomura is similarly stepping down from his position as executive VP, with Yoshinobu Sasahara and Satoshi Arai moving to new positions of executive corporate officer and managing corporate officer, respectively.

Both Egawa and Nomura will continue to serve on Capcom’s board as directors.

Capcom released its financial results for the nine months ending December 31, 2024, last month, reporting net sales and operating income “in-line” with its fiscal plan, despite a 16.3 percent year-on-year drop in net sales to ¥88.9 billion ($572.7 million) and a 33% fall in net income.
